Zohar Kfir’s PARA site opens tonight at Studio XX

The ongoing ABC:MTL exhibit’s latest public offering is “Heritage Montreal.” At 4 p.m., the CCA’s beautiful Shaughnessy House hosts an open discussion about the issues surrounding the preservation of Montreal’s heritage. At 7 p.m., Emanuelle Léonard will give a talk reflecting on her photography and its intersections with the idea of citizenship. Canadian Centre for Architecture (1920 Baile), free
Tonight is the vernissage for famed Franco-American experimental artist Babette Mangolte’s eponymous solo show at VOX. The work on display recounts the tale of her time spent in New York in the ’70s through audiovisual pieces, film and performance. VOX (2 Ste-Catherine E., #401), 5 p.m., free
Check out Salon FB94, part of Studio XX’s Wired Women. Zohar Kfir presents PARA site, a video installation (that will remain on display at the Studio through Feb. 14), followed by an artist talk.
