Closet Monster

At the Phi Centre, TIFF presents Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival, a screening series opening tonight with Stephen Dunn’s Closet Monster, and running through Jan. 16. 407 St-Pierre, 7:30 p.m., $11.75/$9.50

Tonight’s Wildside Festival highlight is the Fringe Fest favourite from Kaleidoscope Theatre, Captain Aurora: A Superhero Musical, with an ensemble cast directed by Trevor Barrette in a futuristic adventure about the aftermath of an alien invasion. Montreal dream-pop band She-Devils launches their debut, digital four-song EP in Montreal tonight, a week ahead of its official release — read more about Audrey Ann and Kyle Jukka’s project here. Openers are Kallisti, Belave and DJ Pascale Project. Secret location, 10 p.m.
