Head to the Belgo Building for a handful of vernissages, including SBC Gallery (#507) for Sans peau / No Skin exhibition, in which Brazilian artists Ines Doujak, Pablo Lafuente and Alessandro Marques have created a textile based collection of works that explores the idea of passing through barriers, and PFOAC (#216) for Mark Clintberg’s exhibition using a variety of media including neon, drawing, public art and installations to look at our relationship to public space. 372 Ste-Catherine W., 2–5 p.m., free

A year after launching his album Belfast, Bud Rice launches a new single, “Toxic Wonder,” inspired by the Plateau and a certain St-Laurent Blvd. bar (read more about that here). The monthly LGBT happening known as POMPe marks its fifth anniversary and a move to new digs, from Katacombes to Felix (formerly CFC, and Zoobizarre before that). Resident DJs Like the Wolf and JNNBNNRCK will be joined by another killer duo, Shaydakiss and A-Rock, and there will be a bonus installation/performance by Gambletron. Tonight’s theme is “techno-robot,” so dust off your best retro-futurist digs (or be prepared to bust out your robot dance moves). 6388 St-Hubert, 11 p.m., $5
