The 19th annual Festival international du film pour enfants de Montréal — the kids’ film fest — began on Saturday and runs till March 6 — see the complete list of English-language movies (screening at Cinéma du Parc) here. Today’s film is Oddball, an Australian movie from 2015 about a chicken farmer and his granddaughter training a dog to protect a penguin sanctuary from foxes. Get your hands kneading at Making Dough: A Bread-Making Workshop with Nova Scotia-born chef Justin McIntosh, alumnus of such Michelin star restaurants as Nota Bene, and currently the man in the kitchen at Candide.
