Here are three more festival recommendations for tonight: Brazilian songstress Céu at Club Soda (1225 St-Laurent, 6 p.m., $41.25), Toronto-based singer/songwriter Royal Wood at the Savoy du Metropolis (59 Ste-Catherine E., 7 p.m., $22–$25.55) and a free midnight party with Beat Market (Savoy du Metropolis, 59 Ste-Catherine E.).

A special RIDM presentation of Sundance selection documentary Eat That Question: Frank Zappa in His Own Words will screen tonight at Cinéma du Parc, presented by music journalist Bernard Pérusse and professor/composer Michael Pinsonneault. 3575 Parc, 8 p.m., $12.50

A comedy show starring Paula Bel (The Nasty Show, The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing) and JFL alum David Pryde goes down tonight at the Comedy Nest, with proceeds going to support women’s shelter Chez Doris. 2313 St-Catherine W., 8 p.m., $30

It’ll be a night of psychedelic surf music at Brasserie Beaubien with Brooklyn’s Crushed Out, playing alongside local openers High Hills and the Fingerprints. 73 Beaubien E., 9 p.m., $7

The first edition of queer Latinx party CRZN (ie. corazon, meaning “heart”) is a fundraiser for the families affected by the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the event, where DJs Love, High Fantasy, Debby Friday and Pituca Putica will be dishing Latinx and Afrolatinx rhythms all night. See more details here.
