Check out tonight’s premiere of Black Theatre Workshop’s latest production Rendez-Vous With Home from playwright/performer Djennie Laguerre and Montreal director Dayane Ntibarikure, telling the story of two sisters whose arrival in Haiti to mourn their recently deceased father leads to unexpected discoveries about themselves and their family’s homeland. The Phi Centre hosts the launch party for the first issue of a new collaborative zine called Ha-hafter, featuring photos, text and illustrations produced during a convergence of artists and creatives across disciplines modelled after Andy Warhol’s Factory, with party vibes provided by DJs Rooots b2b Sim and DJ Apportez votre vin. 407 St-Pierre, 7 p.m., free
